Infrastructure

There exists 27 A/C Lecture Halls, 5Tutorial Rooms, 5 Seminar Halls, Computer Center, 65 Well Equipped Labs, 4 Research labs having facilities of advance & modern teaching aids, Provision for video conferencing, Tele-Conferencing, LCD Projector are also Available in seminar hall of each branch. The Institute has bandwidth (2mbps) RF link for uninterrupted connectivity to the internet. The whole campus is Wi-Fi.

LIBRARY- A KNOWLEDGE RESOURCE CENTRE

The library at SKITM is more like integrated knowledge resource centre in which more than 6000 books, CD ROMS , national & international journals ,magazines covering all aspects of academic studies & research materials with internet facility are stocked. Library uses the automation software “Library ” for its operations; with a fully bar-coded transactions, reservation, cancellation, search facilities of library resources and web enabled OPAC service throughout the Campus.

Digital Library

The Digital Library is air-conditioned & equipped with multi-media systems with dedicated broadband internet .The Digital Library provides access to NPTEL. Other facilities incorporated to the digital library services includes online public access catalogue (OPAC), internet facility, smart card based bar-coded transactions and search facilities of library resources…etc

WORKSHOP- ESSENTIAL NEED OF ENGINEERING

Workshop is one of the core subject of engineering. To meet the requirement of basic engineering, following shops have been developed in the workshop

Machine shop	Foundry shop
Welding shop	Fitting shop
Sheet Metal Shop	Carpentry shop

 

Air Conditioned Class Rooms

All class rooms and tutorial rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with advanced & modern teaching aids, such as OHP. Additionally, provision for video conferencing, Tele-conferencing, LCD Projector are also made in seminar halls of each branch.

HOSTEL FACILITY

The separate hostel for boys & girls operational from August 2010, caring wardens & a fight security has been
proposed for ensuring a pleasant stay allowing students to focus on their academics, whilst internet access &
STD facilities will also be provided for contact with family & friends.

The common rooms are fully equipped with TV, Indoor games & other recreation facilities AC rooms will also be
made available on demand as per existing rules.

COMPUTER LABS

Computer Science, a discipline which is now widely recognized as an essential source of tools and techniques for advancements in nearly all spheres of human endeavors.

ELECTRONIC LABS

ECE is making endeavor in providing training and expertise, imparting required skill and guidance to the young Engineering students to prepare themselves to build and ensure for themselves a conistent future career.Further to support their effort on acquiring all practical knowledge, the experimental set ups in the Laboratories are well equipped and regularly modernized.

CIVIL LABS

Civil engineering deals with solutions to problems involving traffic, water supply, sewer, flood control and the environment. The program is planned to give a selection of basic engineering-science and design education to enable the graduate to begin a career in any of the various fields of practice in civil engineering. The Civil engineering program provides course work in design and implementation and focuses on practical applications.

ELECTRICAL LABS

The program provides to illustrate practical and theoretical aspects of basic electrical devices, circuits, networks, electrical machines, power electronics, control system, industrial drives and control transducers and high voltage engineering etc.

MECHANICAL LABS

The field of mechanical engineering has the widest applications in the engineering industry; whether the product is a medical instrument, electronic gadget or any other equipment, Mechanical Engineer is always there to plan, design, and manufacture and control the quality. The department of Mechanical Engineering strives to impart quality education keeping in view the global scenario and social obligation.

Conference Room

The institute has a conference Room, which is well equipped with state-of-art facilities.

Cafeteria

Modern facilities and has a sitting capacity of 100.

Fresh fruit juices, milkshakes, ice creams sundaes and even midnight snacks are available in these cafeteria for energy boosts.

Hence, Cafeterias has menu that is designed by a team of professional dieticians, comprising nutritious and wholesome food to ensure a well-balanced diet.

Transport Facility

SKITM has a fleet of 8 buses for students & staff available from important points Rohini,Nangloi, Narela, Janakpuri, Dwarka & Bahadurgarh, Bawana, Kharkhoda and new route may be added as per requirement such as Sonepat, Rohtak, Azadpur, Punjabi Bagh.

Power & Water Facilities

24 hours uninterrupted power supply by silent electric generator and potable water supply through RO system and water cooler.

There is round the clock security arrangement in the campus.

Internet

A healthy body makes a healthy mind. To ensure the well being, our campus has tie up with renowned hospitals to take care of any emergency, whatsoever. Students shall be covered by the comprehensive Medical Insurance to meet all kinds of exigencies. Dr. Veerbhan visits daily.

The Infrastructure has been designed with exceptional facilities for sports as well as recreational activities to ensure healthy environment.
